Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) is the only international airport serving the city of Lima, Peru.

Cathedral of Lima:Also known as the Basilica Cathedral of Lima, the building is a Roman Catholic cathedral situated right in the heart of Lima. Since its construction in 1535, the cathedral has been reconstructed and renovated plenty of times, but still retains its original colonial look. The cathedral is dedicated to St John.
Plaza Mayor:As the central square of the city, this is the gateway to various famous landmarks in Lima, such as the Government Palace and the Archbishop's Palace of Lima.
Larco Museum: The museum features a remarkable collection of pre-Columbian art and artifacts. It showcases the 4000 years of rich history of Peru throughout its chronological galleries. There is also a Museum Gallery Shop that sells products of craftsmen from all over the country.
Lima’s climate is characterised by consistent temperatures and very moderate weathers. The temperatures here rarely rise above 29 °C or below 14 °C. Humidity level is high throughout the year, and often produces a layer of fog in the mornings, especially during summer. On the other hand, raining is rare. In summers, there is a phenomenon called “cielo de brujas” (Spanish for “sky of witches”) during sunset, as the sky is filled with different shades of red, pink and orange. Temperatures in this season average around 22 °C. Winters, on the other hand, observe grey skies and windy atmosphere. Temperatures average around 16 °C. Lima is good to be visited any time of the year thanks to its pleasant weather.
