Surabaya Juanda International Airport (SUB) is an international airport situated in Sedati, Sidoarjo. It is the second largest airport in Indonesia (after Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport), serving the greater metropolitan area of Surabaya. The airport was named after Djuanda Kartawidjaja, the last Prime Minister of Indonesia who initiated the construction of the airport. Juanda International Airport is one of the busiest airport in Indonesia based on the aircraft movements and passenger movements.
The airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 receives all domestic flights except Garuda Indonesia and Indonesia AirAsia flights; Terminal B receives all international flights and Garuda Indonesia & Indonesia AirAsia. Juanda International Airport is currently the hub of Citilink, Garuda Indonesia, Indonesia AirAsia, Lion Air, and Sriwijaya Air along with Soekarno–Hatta International Airport. Juanda International Airport is now part of ASEAN Open skies, serving as one of the main airports in Indonesia.
Getting to and from the Airport
Transportation Counter is located on the Arrivals level after baggage claim. You are advised to purchase a fixed price taxi coupon from the Transportation counter and proceed to the taxi stand outside. There is also car rental service available from Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt.

The Surabaya Juanda airport is located roughly 7 miles (approximately 30 minutes) from Surabaya, which makes the city very accessible from the airport.
