Fly with XiamenAir

Online Booking

Flight bookings can be made on the XiamenAir website, which allows group bookings of up to 9 people. Passengers can also check their flight status by entering their departure and arrival cities and dates, or their flight number.

Seating

XiamenAir’s fleet consists of 146 aircrafts, of which 122 are Boeing 737-800s. Boeing 737-800s have two classes of seats. Business Class seats are recliners with a 36-inch pitch and 20-inch width, while Economy Class seats have a 31-inch pitch and 17-inch width.

Online and Mobile Check-In

XiamenAir does not have an online check-in feature on their website or their mobile app. Online check-in is only available for flights from China, but not from Hong Kong or any other destinations. Passengers will need to head to the airport at least 2 hours before their departure (for international travellers) to allow for ample time to check-in and get through security.

Baggage Allowances

On international flights, the baggage allowance is 20 kg piece for Economy Class passengers, 30 kg for Business Class passengers, and 40 kg for First Class passengers. Excess baggage charges are calculated based on 1.5% of the Economy Class ticket per 1 kg of extra weight.

Service on Board

All seats on XiamenAir come with individual TV screens which display in-flight entertainment, featuring movies, travel program, comedy shows, and music. In addition, there is also an in-flight meal service for all flights over 1 hour 25 minutes long. Special meals are also available upon request. XiamenAir also offers a unique birthday celebration service, which includes a small gift.

Ticket Refund and Changing Policies

Refunds and change of ticket policies are based on the fare conditions, which are displayed on your e-ticket or receipt. In addition, the class of service, booking class, and fare class also determine how much you will need to pay to make a change or how much will be refunded.
