Flights to Phuket

Phuket International Airport is located on the northern part of Phuket Island, some 32 kilometres from the city centre of Phuket City. The airport serves Phuket Province of Thailand and is the the third busiest airport in Thailand in terms of passengers, after Suvarnabhumi Airport and Don Mueang International Airport in the Bangkok metropolitan area. Phuket International Airport is the gateway to Thailand’s favourite resort destinations, and in fact the airport lies along Mai Khao Beach, Phuket’s longest beach. A window seat will definitely give you an unforgettable welcome view of the scenic bay.

The airport has two main terminals-- Terminal 1 is used for international flights, and Terminal 2 for domestic flights. Terminal X opened in 2014 for chartered flights. Phuket International Airport is also currently undergoing a major expansion and upgrading to accommodate the growing number of passenger arrivals.

These shuttle buses however, are not air-conditioned and do not follow a regular bus schedule. But hey, the best beach holidays are for relaxing and not meant to follow strict schedules, right?
