AIRPORT INFORMATION

The airport serves as the hub for the national carrier Nordica Airlines. The airport is the largest airport in Estonia and it has a single runway which serves both the international and domestic flights that land here. Sometimes, the airport is used as a military landing zone. Following the increase in passenger numbers, there was the need to expand the runway where in 2016, the airport started expansion strategies beginning with the runway.
