Located about 8 minutes on foot on the south side of Nijo Castle, a World Heritage Site. In addition, the oldest garden in ancient Kyoto “Shinsen-en Garden”, widely known as a famous spot it is 5-minute walk away. From the nearest subway station “Nijo castle” the hotel has an excellent access to downtown areas such as Shijo Karasuma and Shijo Kawaramachi. It also has a good access to Shinto shrines and temples in the Higashiyama area, and from JR Nijo Station you can easily go to Arashiyama and Kyoto station, making it very convenient. It has a modern entrance fully covered by traditional Japanese style bamboo wallpaper, making you pass through the impressive lobby to the guest room.
