Located in southern Romania, Bucharest is the capital and the commercial center of the country. It is well known for its historic district and communist-era buildings. It is now the seat of the Parliament of Romania. The building was constructed with heavy communist influence. There are 3 notable museums to be found in the vicinity, namely the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Museum of Communist Totalitarianism and the Museum of the Palace.

The main international commercial airport serving Bucharest is Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP), also known as Otopeni Airport. The airport is the busiest in Romania. It is located 10.3 miles from Downtown Bucharest. An average taxi ride from the airport to the city center should cost about 60 HKD.
