Bathurst Motor Inn is located just 500 metres from the Bathurst Central Business District (CBD) and 5 minutes’ walk from the Macquarie River. It features an outdoor pool and a barbecue area with outdoor seating.

Friendly hosts and a nice room
I booked a deluxe queen room on the BMI website, 24hours prior, for an overnight stay. With my email address I got a 10% discount which made the tariff very reasonable.
On arrival we were given a friendly greeting by the host, a few suggestions for dinner - one being the Kings Hotel nearby. We were given the key to Room 32.
There are a lot of different sections and room types to this motel. Our room was around the back and on the ground floor. It was quite spacious, very clean, nice decor with quality curtains and a comfortable bed. It had a sofa, a small dining setting and everything we needed for our self catering road trip. It appeared to be recently refurbished with tiled floors and a modern tiled bathroom. Everything was in working order and the hot water came through reasonably fast.
I recommend this motel if staying in Bathurst overnight or longer. Ask for room 32 or similar and you won't be disappointed.

AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE.
If you don't mind slipping and falling on the water running into the bedroom area from out of the bathroom, go right ahead.
Staff member was rude an refused our request to change rooms.
We left and stayed at the Panorama, which is highly recommended.

2.5 stars really for our room
This is supposedly rated as 4 star however our experience is significantly less. The unit was downstairs and old with multiple chipped paint and bare metal showing around the door.
Opening the door and reaching for the light switch revealed the switch was broken and no overhead lighting possible, instead 2nd switch turned on 2 low light wall fittings. The security chain. Had no lock plate
Disturbingly there was black mould in the bathroom around the shower rails and in the tile grout

Relied on public transport. Walkable from railway station. Close to fast food. Mcdonalds. Hungry jack. Red rooster. Kfc. Clean room.

Looks very old. TV is barely working with no youtube or any primary apps. Property needs to be painted as well.
