If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone for free. Ski and snowboard fans will enjoy a skiing area. You won’t be bored as at the guest house you will find a ping-pong area..You can take your pet with you for the journey. Pets are allowed. Additional services that the guest house offers to its guests: a safe-deposit box.

Tranquillity on a farm

We have just returned from an excellent stay at the Gastehaus Sonnweber. We did not know the Sonnenplateau, but discovered it has all the advantages of the Alps - mountain air, magnificent scenery, and wonderful walks, but with the advantage that you start at 1000m, so that if you wish most of those walks can be on the flat. We stayed one night B and B at the Gastehaus, and then moved into a 2 bedroom flat, so experienced both aspects of the guesthouse, including the excellent breakfast for our B and B.. The building itself is lovely - traditional design, with large balconies and flowered-filled window boxes, but it has been custom built as a guesthouse, with real attention to detail. Our flat had wonderful high wooden ceilings, a balcony its entire length, spacious bedrooms, living room and bathroom, and all mod cons including dishwasher. All was of excellent quality. Elizabeth, our host, was both welcoming and helpful. We loved getting our jug of milk from the farm, and her fresh butter and yogurt. You can walk in all directions straight from the farm. There was also an excellent outdoor swimming pool nearby, in beautiful gardens, looking straight up to the mountains; this is free with the local area guest card, available to visitors. The only slight disadvantage of the gastehaus is that although it is set well back from the road through Mieming, there is a bit of traffic noise during the day. This is a minor matter, however, and more than compensated for by the panoramic views all round. Overall, this is a perfect base for those seeking a quiet holiday in the midst of magnificent scenery.

Alles super!!!

Wir kommen hier schon viele Jahre her, früher im Sommer, mittlerweile für unseren Winterurlaub. Es ist sehr entspannt, die Besitzer sind nett und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnungen sind sauber und mit allem ausgestattet. Es ugibt frische Kuhmilch und Butter. WLan ist auch da. Die Kinder gehen gerne in den Stall, schauen beim melken zu und kuscheln die Kälbchen. Alles prima!
