Very nice and great value
We stayed here for 3 nights. The main reason was that our daughter wanted to learn to ride horses. There are three apartments (I think). Ours was big size with two separate bedrooms, terrace and bathroom with shower and separate toilet. The equipment of the kitchen is simple (too simple for our liking) and you need to bring all the condiments as well as washing up liquid which took us a bit by surprise. But the price is only 85 eur per night and that includes dachstein summer card which is absolutely priceless as it gives you most of the top attractions in the region for free including trip to the dachstein glacier!
The accommodation was fine. The farm had horses, cows, chickens (eg fresh eggs), cats and bunnies. Our daughter loved it and didn’t want to leave. The horse riding lessons are actually also well priced - for private lesson 22 eur for 30 mins or 28 for 50 mins. You can do some cool hikes directly from the farm, including a great alm (restaurant) Sonnenhof which the owners recommended to us.
Overall very nice experience. Would be happy to come back

Severe Warning – Offensive attitude, financial loss, and complete lack of empathy
I could have easily booked through Booking.com, but when Marion, the owner, personally asked me to book directly with her, I agreed – out of goodwill, to support a small business and help her save commission fees.
We agreed on a price of €532. I ended up paying €554 due to bank transfer fees. When she told me she had received only €510, I immediately agreed to transfer an additional €22 to make up the difference.
Later, I checked and realized how much I had actually paid. I approached Marion kindly and respectfully, asking only for a small symbolic discount – just to acknowledge the fact that direct booking cost me significantly more than it would have through a platform like Booking.com.
When I sensed she was offended, I sincerely apologized multiple times. I explained how excited our young children were to meet the farm animals, I even sent her photos of our family and assured her we’re kind people who were truly looking forward to this vacation. I begged for a fresh start.
None of it helped.
Instead, she cancelled the reservation abruptly, without discussion or basic human compassion.
Eventually, I only received €459 back – due to additional banking fees on her side.
In total, I lost €95, and we were left without accommodation at the very last minute, with all the good places already booked.
This is not just poor customer service – it’s cold, heartless behavior.
I truly felt discriminated against.
Do not trust this place. If you’re looking for kindness, flexibility, or even basic decency – stay away

Nach der Menge der WhatsApp Nachrichten sie sie geschickt haben, war schnell klar das wir Ihren Wünschen und Vorstellungen nicht gerecht werden könnten.
Es wurde ihnen die vollständige Anzahlungssumme retour überwiesen, die Bankspesen in Israel obliegen nicht in unserem Zuständigkeitsbereich und das tut mir auch sehr leid.
Die Buchung wurde fast 8 Wochen vor ihrer geplanten Anreise storniert, und da auch keine Ferienzeit ist, gibt es jede Menge tolle Betriebe die zu dieser Zeit noch frei haben.
Auch wenn sie meine Entscheidung auf die Stornierung nicht akzeptieren können, wünsche ihnen trotzdem einen wundervollen Urlaub mit ihrer Familie.
