Good choice for our whale watching excursion
We stayed one night to go and see the whale tour and overall, the hotel met expectations.
We took the superior room with kitchen and two queen beds. The room was very spacious, with sofa, table with chairs, and a small kitchen (with equipment, including toaster, fires, and a small oven). The bathroom was small but enough. We had direct access to the street, and a small table outside. The only thing, although it is well maintained, needs a small reform, and especially a change of the sheets, because although clean, they looked very used.
Of the facilities, we used the outdoor pool, which for a swim was fine, although as the sun was setting, towards cool.
The hotel does not have breakfast, but they offer you a discount for breakfast in the restaurant opposite. It has a bar area with free billiards and a shop.
Finally, we took the whale tour through the hotel itself, with a nearby Enterprise, and the truth was that it was a success, because it was somewhat cheaper than from Tadoussac, by semi-deck boat, and we could see the whales. They made the reservation to us, and we paid for the excursion at the hotel with the night stay. The departure site is only 5 minutes by car. Quite a hit.

There isn’t much lodging in the area. Very little choice. Old and tired. Usually go camping when in the area. Wish I was camping. AC kept stopping. Wasn’t bad but very very tired motel. Wasn’t horrible but really super expensive for what it is. Room was better than the rest of the facility.

Good but
The beds are comfortable, the view of the Saint Laurent is appreciable, the kitchenette is useful, the bathroom is a little cramped and impractical (shower in a bathtub).
The staff just right.

Rooms need updating but at least there is no carpet. Very clean, super friendly staff, pet friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Old hotel. We made other hotels during our trip which was much better for the same price
Breakfast not included. The reception gives us a voucher for a 10% discount in the restaurant le Birch which is no better than the hotel....
