Great value for money, and then some!
Since we travelled on a budget my expectations weren't too high, but our room at Dalmatia Sun was so much better than I could have hoped for. It was absolutely spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and decorated, and everything was in good working order (minus a squeaky bathroom door). It's a short walk from the oldtown, the bus station and the ferries. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return here if I come back to Split.

Mouldy smell beds like concrete
Beds disgraceful ... a large room apartment .. bathroom large bedroom terrible .. no fresh air.. TV hard to navigate..location ok..

Good room near to the center !!
We were sent a message asking our time of arrival but we never got it as we were travelling without data connection. However, someone came promptly after we called them. The room is near to the city center, bus station and Diocletian's palace. The room was spacious and clean. There was a cool terrace where we could sit. We were given a lot of information about going around in Split. It was a good stay.

Good location for everything
Lovely place in a great spot. Very clean, has tv, fridge and a balcony. The stairs are very tight and not good for people with mobility issues. All restaurants, bars and sights are 5 min from here. Its close to the market, has a supermarket next to it and the restaurant next door you have to try! Perfect location for a city break. We stayed three night.

Very good value,very helpful owners
We stayed in one of the Dalmatia Sun rooms, Tolstoja 5 rather than Tolstoja 7, and had a very enjoyable and good value stay.
Our room was very clean, had a good sized bathroom and had an outside balcony area with a table and chairs that caught the best of the afternoon and evening sun.
The rooms on the upper floors have spiral stairways. Duje was very helpful getting our case up the first time but keep this in mind in your packing or if you have any mobility issues.
We liaised with the owners before our visit and they collected us from the airport and took us back when we departed. This was extremely helpful, totally hassle free and well worth the extra cost.
When we arrived at the room Duje showed us how everything worked then took us the very short walk into the city centre to orientate us with the map he provided and to point out supermarkets and local shops for supplies. A great extra service that was much appreciated and allowed us to get on with our holiday that much quicker.
He also introduced us to a friend who had a restaurant in the centre of the city which we used for our evening meal that night.
The palace area of the city is only 3 minutes from the apartment, the bus station, harbour and train station are only 8 minutes away, plus it only takes 30 minutes to get to the flag on the top of Marjan.
A great budget stay, excellent guys to deal with, we really enjoyed our stay in Split.
