Eating with mountain views
In the highest part of Modrava (Šumava ) so with views over the whole valley (fantastic ) a local beer and a fried cutlet are enough to spend a fantastic hour. Also say that the staff is friendly, and even with a short menu it is complete.

Still a great place to go
Perfect location and wonderful nature. The service in the hotel is very nice, the food was great, but it took very long time in the restaurant from time of order to food delivery (sometimes even longer than 60 mins). All the kitchen personnel is new this year and they need to improve as it got worse compared to last year, but we hope they will fix it. And If not, the accommodation is still fine and there are options to eat elsewhere in Modrava.

Good place for lunch
This place came recommended, and we weren't disappointed by the location or friendly, professional service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a lovely view of the surrounding mountains.
We had Kulajda Soup, Lamb Ragu and Goat Cheese Salad. The potatoes in the soup could have perhaps been cooked a little bit longer, otherwise the soup was very good. Although the service was otherwise impeccable, our main dishes were in fact brought out before we had finished our soup.
The espresso coffee is very good and worth trying. Instead of sugar, you are served a little container of a caramel-like substance which is delicious, in or out of your espresso.
Will probably visit again if in the area.

Amazing place to stay
Spent a family weekend and can't say how great weekend it was. Thank you hotel team to make our stay so comfortable and relaxing. Food was an excellent - little bit limited selection for kids (5 & 9) - but tasty and fresh.

An excellent hotel!
This is our first experience with this hotel but definitely not the last one. We were so happy there that it is even hard to express our thanks to those wonderful people who took care of us. The receptionist, the waiters, the chambermaid -all were so nice and helpful. The room was comfortable, very clean. The service perfect. The restaurant is cozy and the cuisine -excellent!!! We are just sorry we didn´t manage to taste all the delicious meals on the menu. Thanks to the chef and his staff!!! The offer of wine was also great -nice to sit there in the evening after a day out -cross country skiing was great too. I can´t remember to feel so good and welcome as in this wonderful hotel.
Strávili jsme v Klostermannově chatě pět dní a budeme na ně dlouho vzpomínat. Hotel je nejen velmi citlivě zrekonstruován a působí útulně a příjemně -pokoj jsme měli velmi pohodlný, perfektně čistý a restaurace je rovněž útulná, ale hlavně v něm pracují velmi milí lidé. Už dlouho jsme se nesetkali s tak milým přístupem k hostům- od recepční, přes ty, kdo nás obsluhovali v restauraci až po pokojskou. Kuchyně je zde opravdu výjimečná, nabídka velmi zajímavá a kvalita fantastická. Můžeme jen litovat, že jsme nestihli ochutnat všechno, ale jehněčí kolínko nebo candát se švestkovou omáčkou...zážitek. Nabídka vín rovněž široká a kvalitní. Navíc fundovaná doporučení od obsluhujícího číšníka. Bylo velmi příjemné si večer posedět po výletu na běžkách. Děkujeme a těšíme se na příští návštěvu.
