Idyllic setting and very friendly welcome
In a magnificent valley your host awaits you. The establishment is kept in perfect condition and very charming. Both the food and the kindness of the host allowed us to have a very pleasant stay. The terrace in its green setting allows you to enjoy this enchanting setting.

Very nice food
The owner is really nice and also the cook. Food was very nice. Cooked fresh from local products. Would happily go back and stay at the hotel and enjoy the scenery and take part in the walking/ skiing on offer.

Perfect for cross country skiing, trekking etc.
Castel Blanc is a small hotel which has been almost unchanged for 30 years, only kept up in good shape. Its owner is a passionate skier and outdoors man who has developed it into a perfect place for outdoors activities. There are skis for rent, a ski care room, a training room with weights, a sauna, a dormitory for wanderers, and a nice hotel with some 10 rooms of different sizes for tourists. Most rooms have nice views towards the small pond and forest. But the main advantage of the hotel is surely its surroundings and its owner who takes good care of you, loves to talk and event lecture on skis and skiing, but also cooks good food and serves local products (try the different sorts of local honey and the homemade confiture!), In the surroundings you have a vast selection of trails, for ski in winter, for walking in summer. The ski tracks are simply unbelievable. No alpine station can compete with Jura ski tracks; you can ski hundreds of kilometers never taking the same track. All well prepared and fresh after snowfalls. I have been coming back to the place since the 1990's and can only say: don't miss it! The owner will soon be 70, so there might be some changes...

Beautiful hideout in the Jura mountains
For those who love nature at its best, this a wonderful place to rest, to ski (cross-country, downhill), for trekking or simply walking, all seasons are wonderful. Professional instructor and equipment available in the premises.

Wonderful
Castel Blanc is a beautiful place, loved the rooms and the view! The best part however is the friendly and caring hosts. We passed through their B&B on our way to a ski station and were very sorry we only spent one night! The rooms are spacious, clean and all have nice views of the mountains. We received a great service for dinner and really enjoyed our breakfast. Highly recommend!
