We were very pleased
Very clean and comfortable apartment. The location is very good, and you can easily get to the center, especially for holiday activities. Very large and spacious. Once we’re back in Cologne, we won’t look for more hotels. We felt at home. No problem heating in winter. Modern design.

A wonderful city break in Cologne
Great apartment has everything you could need for a 3 day stay ,super location. Host could not be more helpful he even arrange to order a part for me that I couldn’t get in Ireland ,this just typified the German people we meet in cologne. A wonderful little bar next door that does tapas style food closes around 10pm so no noise couldn’t recommend this apartment any higher for a short break exploring the wonderful Cologne

Perfect apartment, and nicely located
These apartments are a pleasure to stay in. Spacious, pleasantly decorated, and well fitted out. Decorations and furniture were all in excellent condition, and the apartment was very clean, and well cleaned weekly. Plenty of storage space for a longer stay, and the kitchen has plenty of cupboard and worktop space, all the necessary appliances, and generously provided with crockery and utensils. The sound insulation must be excellent as the apartment was strikingly silent in the evenings and at night. In the basement, washing machines and tumble driers are free to use (even the washing powder), and good sized drying racks are available. Undercover car parking is less than two minutes walk away, I never had a problem finding a space, and the apartment can organise a month season ticket for you - price is very reasonable.
And nicely central, less than 15 minutes walk from the railway station and less than 10 minutes walk to Heumarkt area and the river, and 2 minutes from a supermarket, and shops - but the apartment in a quiet side street, and the car park entrance is immediately adjacent to a main road so easy to get to.
All in all, a very pleasant place to stay - I was sad to be leaving the apartment when my work in Cologne was completed.

Lovely home!
Das Koln was the most wonderful of the many places we stayed in Germany. It had all the amenities and is located very centrally. Access to public transport, cafes, shopping areas and yet very quiet. Great for families and business travellers.
The owners are extremely helpful and very kind to us. Mazdak will forever be a friend to us.

Great location
First of all it is important to remark that this is an apartment and not a hotel. So don't expect daily cleaning, lobby bar or room service. The place is great located 2 minutes away from Neumarkt train and tram station, just in front ad a big mall and shopping area and 10minutee away from the historic center and main monuments. The price is very correct for the location and the dates I were there. Apartments are very comfortable and very well equipped for a short term staying: oven, kitchen, fridge, pottery, tableware... good internet connection, very silent and well climate control.
