Xmas in germany

Buon albergo, in ottima posizione. Proprietario accogliente, stanza buona, servizi mediocri. Discreta prima colazione a buffet. Ristorante da non sperimentare.

Need for sleep

Visited during a business trip. Nothing special, room was clean and quiet. The older man at reception was quite friendly. The room was shown in advance. We wanted something to eat in the evening so the cold plate was offered - the same one as on breakfast :(

Not sure if we'd go back.

Location in the Schwarzwald, close to Titisee and surrounding areas. Pretty building on the outside. Nice linens on the beds.
Our room was at the back, facing another residential building - with very noisy neighbors talking on their balcony late at night, and very early in the morning. No A/C or fans, so windows had to be left open because of the heat. No easy chair in the room, only two straight back chairs at a small table. Tiny, tiny bathroom, though the shower stall was adequate.

Alte Brötchen zum Frühstüxk

Leider erfüllt das Hotel keiner der Angepriesenen Empfehlungen.
Altmodisch, sehr rustikal, kein Aufzug. Wellnesbereich wird beworben, ist aber aus Kostengründen nicht verfügbar. Frühstück war zwar reichhaltig aber keine frischen Brötchen an keinem Tag.
Nicht genügend Parkplätze. Sehr teuer. Fernsehsender schwer zu finden. Besitzer bei jeder Frage direkt genervt.

In Coronazeiten Stornokosten zu verlangen für ein Zimmer das 4 Monate vor Reiseantritt storniert wurde, ist eine absolute Unverschämtheit, zumal man einer
Risikogruppe angehört.
Solche Hoteliers haben den Ernst der Lage nicht erkannt und meinen immer noch
am längeren Hebel zu sitzen.
