Set in Paramonas and only 200 metres from Paramonas Beach, Areti Studios offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.

Talvolta anche la semplicità può essere d'eccellenza
Certo chi volesse uno studios di lusso o esotico può cercare altrove. La camera è concortevole (buono il materasso) ma normalissima, il bagno con doccia efficiente ma normalissimo, al cucinotto non mancava proprio niente (si può cucinare volendo di tutto) ma normalissimo, il balconcino in alto sulla spiaggia di Paramonas era un semplice balconcino, eppure tutta questa normalità messa insieme ne fa un posto super. Tranquillità. Dormire con le finestre aperte ed una leggera brezza che fa riscontro (perché le finestre sono contrapposte) senza bisogno dell'aria condizionata al rumore delle onde del mare. Che meraviglia. Passare le tarde serate a guardare dal balconcino il paesaggio al chiar di luna. Purtroppo non c'è rosa senza spina. C'erano tante zanzare. Zampironi e repellenti sono necessari. Rientrare in stanza salendo le scale al profumo di gardenia (2, 3 piante enormi e profumatissime). Gli altri ospiti rispettosi del rumore del mare. Che pace. Un bel giardino comune sotto. Il parcheggio per le vetture. I proprietari gentilissimi che bussano alla porta per donarti qualche frutto del loro orto o una caraffa del vino fatto da loro. Servizio e pulizia della camera perfetti. Ottimo il prezzo. Grazie.
Il difetto più grosso per i più sarà stata la spiaggia di Paramonas coperta di alghe, ma non per noi che ce ne andavamo in cerca di spiagge per tutta l'isola.

Hard to imagine worse
The best place to screw up your vacation.
Only swear words come to my mind when I think of Areti Studios.
The only thing I can't complain about is a balcony view, but it doesn't offset all the defects this place has.
The room itself is dirty, poorly equipped, everything is outdated and barely works. No air conditioner, only blower which is obviously not enough in the warm climate of Greece, no shower curtain etc. (You can see the ugliness in the attached photos)
The location is horrible, it's far form everything, the nearest shop is 3km away, and most important the beach nearby with single tavern and no shops is so poor that i wanna cry.
If you don't rent a car, nothing to do there, but even if you do I strongly wouldn't recommend going to this part of the island and the hotel itself. Driving is too tiring, serpentine become so narrow that only one car can fit, pray noone drives in oncoming lane. In addition to that, the access road is so steep and insidious, that it becoms a real challenge to get there and have your car unscathed unless you're a professional driver.
The owners are deceivers who don't care neither of the place nor their guests, but just want to line your pockets.
Even thought we paid for the whole stay, we left this terrible place the second day with no regrets.
Save your vacation and choose another place! A lot better hotel can be found for the same (or even less) price!

VERY CHEAP AND VERY BASIC
We basically paid next to nothing for this holiday so we expected nothing.
The room was very basic and was very hot with no Air con
We spent most of the holiday sunbathing and drinking in the bars
St george has a gorgeous beach !!!! and also a nudist beach further on if your feeling brave !
Grease is very expensive for self catering so we ended up spending £1500 in 2 weeks on food and drink so in hindsight It would have been better spending this money on a All inclusive hotel

A smelly room with no view
This review is about the ground floor studios at Areti, specifically number 2, cannot speak for upper floors.
On opening the door of the studio on arrival my wife and i were overpowered by the smell of a mixture of decay, mildew and damp all emanating from below the kitchen unit. my wife opened up one of the doors and the wall was running with condensation and falling apart as a result of the damp. during the entire week although we left the unit's doors open when we were out and sprayed the area with 2 air fresheners the smell remained.
The shower cubicle was so small that you could, if you felt like it, have a shower, shave and the other all at the same time!
Part of the enjoyment of a greek holiday is sitting on the balcony enjoying a pre and post dinner drink and admiring the view. The view from this studio was a brick wall as the owners had built a house right in front of the studio blocking the view and most of the light.
The towels were of very poor quality and changed once a week only as were the sheets.
I would not recommend the studios to anybody.
