A perfect Corfu stay – already booked to return!
I stayed in one of the two-bed bungalows at Makis Studios for 10 days and honestly didn’t want to leave. The place was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need – even a proper oven, which is rare!
The married couple who run it are wonderful – friendly, hardworking, and always on hand if you need anything. The pool is gorgeous and kept beautifully clean, and the poolside snack bar/restaurant is a real bonus – great food and drinks, all served with a smile.
There’s a lovely, relaxed vibe here. The other guests were friendly without being intrusive, and everything just felt easy and peaceful.
I loved it so much I’ve already booked to come back at the end of August. Can’t wait.

Loved it
Maki’s is fantastic lovely hosts,cleaning 5 times a week everything you need is in the room,shower is good always hot.we requested a Seaview and we got one these apartments are right by the beach/sea,shops bars are right on your doorstep would highly recommend.

We can't wait to return next summer
We came across makis by chance and when we walked up to the pool area we thought wow!!!! It looks like an oasis to us. Obviously we weren't staying there but they made us feel so welcome.
Our accommodation was all inclusive but very very poor. It cost us a lot of extra money to be there but it was worth every penny.
By the time we had to leave the owners felt like friends with us. The food was very good. The pool was crystal clear every day. A vast majority of the holiday makers were repeat customers, some have returned for 30 years. So we're booked there for 3 weeks next summer.

Disappointed
This was our second time staying here last year was perfect this year was not as good unfortunately, don’t get me wrong this is a wonderful hotel and the owners are so nice . The problem this year was they seemed to cater more for no guests who are free to use the pool they would turn up at 6:30am put their towels down on the beds I seen her putting towels down on around 10 beds and then soon afterwards more came and did the same , so no beds left for us guests, we did get a bed on one occasion only because I got up early to join the towels on bed sad people,tbh I wish I never bothered it was full of out of control kids with parents just kicked back sunbathing while there kid constantly shouting screaming splashing and just being annoying I’m not anti kids but for the love of god some parents just need to get a grip . One evening we came back to hotel and we would often sit on the balcony and have a bottle of wine and relax around 23:30pm there was a pool party it was like something from a 18/30 holiday in kavos the music was pumping people in and out of the pool kids running around everywhere shouting parents drunk unsupervised kids it was just a nightmare. Maybe it was just unfortunate there was some unruly kids and parents who didn’t care about anyone else sad really. We didn’t let it ruin our holiday we just went to the beach each day instead. I think they should have a look after their own guests before they let anyone and everyone in just so they get an income from food and drinks.
