Lorenton Hideaway
Very homey place in the village of Lucea - between the Negril and Montego Bay. Host very nice Canadian Lady. Very secure building with electric gate for the car. We had a car all the time - but be aware that the steering wheel is on the wrong side on every car in Jamaica and they drive also on the wrong side of the road..... only to remind you. We knew.

Absolute gem of a a "Hideaway". Screened a short film there I made and the host could not do enough for me. First class service. Grounds can actually hold 85 wedding style if you wish, although my setting was for much less, nonetheless this is a very homely place....and one where u can really relax

Gorgeous gardens
Lorenton Hideaway truly is a gem.
Our hosts went above and beyond when it came to accomadating each and every request.
The beach is a short 5 minute walk.
The gardens are gorgeous! Fresh fruit is on the property.
This bed and breakfast is one of the best we have stayed at on the island! We miss it already.
We definitely will be back.

Luscious Lucea the hidden gem
Beautiful historic Lucea has it all. An interesting history (old town hall clock). A fantastic market. Nice public beach and awesome views of the bay and historic buildings abound. An easy half hour from Sangster airport and another easy half hour to Negril if your looking for more excitement. Jackie and Mikey areBY FAR the best hosts we have ever experienced!! The Lorenton Hideaway is a five/ten minute walk to downtown or the beach. Beautiful rooms with spectacular flower gardens on a large property. Security is second to none with key fobs to lock gates. A true Jamacain experience.

Lorenton Hideaway
Excellent.. Excellent.. Excellent....I just spent the week at the Lorenton Hideaway...from the moment I arrived,I felt at home. The hospitality, cleanliness, friendliness, location and food was better than any major hotel I've ever stayed in. I personally would like to thank Ms. Jackie, her husband Mike and Ms. Christine for ensuring that my stay with them was most enjoyable. I must say that my experience at Lorenton Hideaway was most enjoyable. Everyone went above and beyond.I truly felt like part of the family...like I was home. I Will definitely recommend that you spend some time there. I rate this place a 10 but if I could give it 20..I would. Ms Jackie makes sure that you are safe..(very concerned about her guests)..and also tells you the best places to go or to stay away from. Lorenton Hideaway is a very secure place...I never really locked my door! Ms. Jackie and her husband also made sure that I got back to the airport safe and sound. Wonderful people. I cannot thank them enough!!
