Cancelled the day before
Booked this hostel and they cancelled the day before via email. I had a stressful time trying to find another place to stay at short notice. Do not book!

worst service i’ve experienced
such a shocking experience, booked the day before and got cancelled, then there was the option for a private room which i booked, turned up and there was no one working there, reception hours are 11am-2pm and is being run by an erasmus student, had no bed for the night and had already paid. was told by other guest when i got there the same thing happened to them the day before

Bad experience - noise and uncleanliness
Bad experience: cleanliness neglected in the sanitary / showers, we had rented a private room with an uncomfortable foam mattress.
Lots of noise at night (4am, then 5am...) preventing us from sleeping: poorly insulated door and outside people squatting in common areas.

Rude and scammers
They only speak Russian, no English, and they have no interest in speaking it either. The woman who cleans is a sweetheart, although she doesn't speak English, she has a smile and is always willing to help. The receptionist spends a couple of hours there a day, I remember that there were days when I didn't even see her because she didn't go. The problem I had was that smoking is prohibited in the hotel and I obviously respected that rule to the letter. I went outside to smoke when I wanted, but the last time I didn't want to finish my cigarette and I put it out halfway, and carried it unlit with me into the building. The next day I was sleeping and the person in charge came in to do her checks. I had to check out and she spoke to me in a very bad way between Lithuanian, Russian and English because it turned out that I was a few minutes past the check-out time, so I politely apologized to her and left the building as soon as possible. What was my surprise that within hours I received an email with an overcharge for going over the check-out time, which I can understand, although in my opinion it was not a big deal, taking into account that in other hotels they give you 30 minutes courtesy in case of any unforeseen event… I received a “fine” XD of 80 euros to be added to the hotel account for smoking in the room…. What happens if you don't bill enough that you have to steal from the guests in some way and you don't know how? Obviously I didn't pay for either one. Better luck next time with someone else... it didn't work with me
