Nice hotel with helpful staff
This place has a great location, within minutes of walk from royal palace which is the taxi drop off place. The manager Hassan is very friendly. If you have any problems (for instance, as a solo traveller who only speaks English it’s difficult to call a taxi that is not over-priced, so Hassan assisted me to make a good deal). The view on the rooftop is nice. The household cat kiri lives very well and she is also spayed.
Few minor issues include that towels are not very enough in the room; the room is not soundproof though the hotel situates in a quieter area.

Beautiful stay in lovely Marrakesh
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here at the Riad Darchica. It was a surprise 60th bday treat for my partner. I am an x travel agent so I must of looked at around 30 or 40 Riad/hotels before booking but we wanted a real experience of Marrakesh.
Every question was answered even before we got to the Riad. Taxi was arranged prior which was great walked straight out of the busy airport to see our name. We also bought the SIM card in the airport as advised by another group. 20 mins later we arrived to be met at the taxi drop off by Hassan. Such a lovely man. Told us the directions of different areas - Souks etc. walked down the alley to the Riad which was clean and brightly lit of an evening.
We were greeted with Moroccan tea and biscuits before being shown our room and also a map of the places around and where we were. Google map is definitely your friend as we soon discovered. The room we had was so beautiful all the rooms were different as we noticed when we walked past. The roof garden is a lovely luxury. The reason I chose this Riad was also for the pool as well as the great reviews. Pool was lovely and clean we sat around it after our trips out but often laid out on the rooftop of an afternoon and always had a drink upstairs after our meals in the evening. Breakfast is plentiful. We are in the Riad the first evening as we were unsure of our safe it was around the area which to be honest it’s all safe. Just make sure you have your wits about you in the square and don’t go down the souks too late either. The evening meal was lovely typical Moroccan with the Tagine. All in all a lovely stay which I would recommend.

Calm and charm in the heart of the Medina

We had an amazing first trip to Marrakech thanks to Hassan and the staff at Darchica! The riad was an oasis of calm from the busy Medina and our room was spacious, relaxing and beautifully clean. The staff are always friendly and hospitable, the pool was perfect for an afternoon dip and the food was also fantastic! We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Morocco - thank you so much for our fabulous stay.

First approach with the Riads of Morocco
What can I say! As the first to a Riad I would say it was perfect!
The property is highly recommended as it is located northwest of the city plan and although not in the center of the medina, it allows you to get there quickly and fully enjoy the peculiarities of Marrakesh.
Our stay was great, in a really large room, well cleaned and overlooking the pool of the riad. Breakfast served, daily different and varied, mainly based on sweet things (as they do in Morocco).
A special thanks goes to Hassan, the person who welcomed us inside the Riad, who did everything to make our stay unforgettable, suggesting things to see, itineraries and giving us advice on the way to continue our tour to Merzouga and corrected our "Arabic". Grazie Hassan!
