Comfort in Windhoek
A very comfortable and quite small hotel - with super-friendly helpful personnel
An ideal and secure location, with a lovely quiet courtyard, with dining room and bar attached. Not a fancy hotel, but I stayed on two separate occasions and was totally satisfied. The only 'negative' was the non-functioning elevator - that needs quick attention, particularly for guests on the second floor.
The Front Desk proved particularlyat arranging airport transfers and an excellent taxi service in the city itself
I particularly commend these wonderful staff:
Aune, Theresia and Thobias on the Front Desk and
John the barman.

Disappointed
Beddings are very dusty, the mats in the rooms are dirty and have thorns,can’t walk in the room with bare feet, not supper friendly for people with allergies (the dust is a lot)no fridge in my room
No hot water, there must be someone to direct guests on arrival
Towels are very crusty
Please consider putting a fridge in all the rooms

I booked online on Expedia and paid. I arrived expecting to check in. Instead the staff insisted that the hotel had not received payment from the online platform and tried to get me to pay a second time. I refused and showed them the receipt from Expedia. I had to threaten to get the police involved before they relented.
Their food and beverage prices are outrageous and the quality is not good. They try to rip you off at every turn.
The rooms I got either didn’t have a working safe for my valuables, or had one that was unusable.
Trust me, you don’t want to stay here. It is gross, the area is sketchy, they are dishonest, and it isn’t good value for the money. You would be better off staying somewhere else.

Hotel asked me paid again of Namibia Dollar 940, although I Have paid to expedia already, so expedia must Refund me , Please ! !

The hotel is a good option to stay in downtown Windhoek if you are interested in spending a day walking around. Windhoek is not a very exciting city, but you can find yourself things to do for 1 day at the beginning or the end of a trip through Namibia. The hotel is in a good condition overall.
