Delicious gegeyen in a relaxed atmosphere
Delicious food! The Bavette (rare baked) was super, delicious pepper sauce. Super friendly staff, very flexible. Nice cup of dessert coffee with liqueur 43 after. Especially the relaxed atmosphere appeals to us again and again.

Welcoming and good food
During a family week in the beautiful Eerbeek at a day Deventer had a super lunch here.

Very little value for money
Top location near the station — that was exactly why we chose this hotel, and that was also the biggest plus.
For €180 a night we got a small, rundown room with an old bathroom and no hot water. So the morning shower was especially refreshing in a spiritual sense.
We had asked twice for a quiet room because we had to catch a train early. The hotel itself was quiet, but thanks to the thin walls and poor insulation, we were able to listen in on our neighbor's drunken FaceTime argument verbatim from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. Including yelling, swearing, thrown stuff and a supporting role for someone named Ronald. Meanwhile, a packet of shag was rushed through and the waltz also passed through the thin wall. At first we thought there were several people in the room, but it turned out to be an impressive solo act.
There was no night reception. The next morning we were told we should have called, although we had not been told at check-in that we could — or who then.
The breakfast was meagre and the staff friendly, but we were not really accommodated. We could possibly shower elsewhere (after our cold shower) or wait for the owner, but our train did not wait. He didn't hear from me after that.
Conclusion: excellent location, nice people, but for this price you expect hot water, better insulation and above all: a night without Ronald.

Perfect in the center
Great value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is great, really right in the center. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and with fine beds. Breakfast basic but more than adequate. And with freshly brewed coffee.
