Great place with soul in the centre of Lillehammer
Lovely bed, room, bathroom and kitchen. Everything you need of facilities. The garden and the building were full of soul. Cheap clean and good south. Short way to the center. The price was very acceptable. I loved walking around the garden. And there was free coffee in the price. Recommended on the most warm

Good price, central and quirky
Stayed two nights for a visit to Hunderfossen.
This seems to be an old mansion and it does bear this seamingly well. Access is through the back where there's also parking available. Old TV's and misc. junk dotted around does pull the rating down somewhat.
Inside we were allocated 2 rooms (family of 2 adults and 2 children) while we had requested a family room. The rooms where side by side next to a kitchenette (that lacked pots and pans, buy these could probably be supplied if needed). One room was ensuite while the other had a private bathroom through the kitchenette. Next door was a common room where other guests also had breakfast so would have liked the door between the common room and kitchenette (with fridge/freezer) to have a lock (the bedrooms themselves where lockable (but with small children locking them both would have been unpractical).
Breakfast (costs extra) was basic but nice enought with a halfdecent selection. Payment is cash only, rare these days.
Locationwise it's 2-3 blocks from Lillehammer High Street (downhill) and a bit tricky to drive to (due to the Lillehammer road system). Quiet area with little to no through traffic.

Great place for a family reunion
We used Øvergaard for a family reunion where we more or less used all the capacity of the house. The very homely environment worked great for us with lots of space to gather in the evening for talk and dining. The host was very attentive and servicemided. He even drove me to get our Pizza takeaway.

Very comfortable lodging and reasonable prices
I stayed there during my pilgrimage to Trondheim and was positively surprised of both the room as well as the price. Payed 395 NOK and got all the comfort I could possibly think of. Extremely friendly hosts and a great sitting room for all guests equipped with a nice TV, coffee-maker, comfy couches and traditional furniture. Also got free Wi-Fi which worked flawlessly and fast. I recommend the place for everyone staying in Lillehammer.

Amazing and Authentic
We got a nice apartment. A bit small, but there was there everything we ever needed (except for the fridge that didn't work that well). There was a very Retro look to the place, which was really unique.
I highly recommend to go there if you're in Lillehammer.
