We will be back!!!!
We went for one night, and the truth is I can't have any complaints.
Although parking is difficult (I recommend parking outside the downtown area), everything is practically next to this hostel, the Plaza del Mercado chico, the cathedral, etc...
Excellent service and the rooms better still. All with their private bathroom clean.

Another very enjoyable weekend stay in one of my favourite hostals! Same lovely friendly staff gave me the quiet rear room I requested. Much appreciated as there was a very noisy (but enjoyable) street festival over the 2 days! This is a very traditional, spotlessly clean Spanish hostal in an older (1888) building but everything is well maintained with great shower and new furniture. Slap bang in the historic centre so can walk everywhere. 30 minutes on foot from the train and bus terminals. Highly recommend for value!

This place was good. Decent size room. Clean, quiet and excellent location. Only gripe is that the Wi-Fi in the room was pretty much nonexistent 90% of the time. Had to go in the hallway near the office to do anything online.

Firstly, the staff were lovely - gave me the really quiet room that I’d requested and was very much appreciated! The location cannot be more central &, though an old traditional building, it has been well maintained and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but fine & a bargain at €2. Will definitely return when in beautiful Avila. Muchas Gracias!
