Simply sensational
Rather coincidentally, I came across the Deltaic restaurant last year and was so excited that I rented an apartment for 14 days at Deltaic this year.
The Deltaic is a great ecotourism project. The apartment is absolutely functional, pleasant and quality equipped with products from local companies and ecologically safe renewable materials. Organic cotton sheets, linen curtains, mosquito repellent (absolutely necessary with the piercing “guardians of the delta”), a fully equipped kitchen (except for an oyster knife), so that you can really let off steam there as a lover of Mediterranean and fish cuisine, etc. etc. Two small balconies - even a terrace on the third floor for the slightly larger apartments - complete the offer. You don't feel like you're in a tourist apartment, you feel like you're at home. The apartment is absolutely ideally located in Deltebre. Both the Bon Preu supermarket and the wonderful Lo Passador bridge are within walking distance. And Daniel has plenty of tips on where to buy the very best local products at a reasonable price. If you don’t feel like cooking yourself, you just go down the stairs to the Deltaic restaurant (see my review from last year). WiFi is available throughout the property.
Deltaic is located in a quiet side street near the centre of Deltebre La Cava. Parking is available right in front of the house. From here, all areas (including the long and lonely beaches even in high season) in the northern and southern Delta can be reached quickly by car and within a maximum of 15 minutes. If you like sports, you can rent a bike directly at the reception. Daniel advises all guests at the beginning of the stay on what to do or what to visit in the Delta within the booked time; he also has plenty of tips for the towns adjacent to the Delta – e.g. La Ràpita, Amposta, Amettla or the Picasso village of Horta de Sant Joan. And when the holiday is over, stop by the small shop and buy some of the best rice in the delta or a bottle of the best wine in the Terra Alta.
No matter what you want to do in the Ebro Delta, wildlife watching, cycling, fishing and fishing, exploring the area or just swimming on a different beach every day or just lazing around, the Deltaic is ideal as accommodation. And if you want to stay longer or are a solo traveler, with Daniel you can also make out a small discount.

A very bad experience
Having booked an apartment at Deltaic via booking.com, we had the unpleasant surprise of having an extra cost for the second room used. In all good faith, we showed the contract to Daniel, the owner, who was forced to admit that it was not there. Dear Daniel, we would have appreciated a more comprehensible hearing from you. Your behavior surprised us. It is not the story of the amount claimed but rather a matter of principle. We deplore your mercantile approach to say the least... as when you told us that you would charge 10€ extra if we did not take down the garbage... It was a pointless reminder because we are always respectful of the places we frequent. Otherwise the hotel is ok but no more with fairly summary facilities. The restaurant seemed friendly to us but it was unfortunately closed during the week, during our stay. We strongly recommend “la Cuineta d’en Sergi” not far from Deltaic, for its cuisine and its warm and authentic welcome.
For many years we have been booking customers and this is the first time we have had to face such a disappointment. We definitely do not recommend this hotel.

Light, airy, comfortable and eco-friendly
In our quest to support eco tourism we lodged at Deltaic, a company whose complex includes apartments, bar and restaurant. Co founder Dani is friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about ecotourism. The apartments are light, airy and well designed and include many products made by local businesses specialising in using ecologically sound renewable materials. Our apartment was a duplex with a lovely roof terrace. They boast eco wifi which is centralised and distributed to the apartments in a way that minimises electro-magnetic radiation. The mattresses, which we can confirm are super comfortable, come from England and are made of natural fibres. In the shop Deltaic sells local organic and artisan products. There is a garden where we were told events take place, although sadly not while we were there due to covid.

TRÈS CHOUETTE !
Un beau projet autour de l' écotourisme ! L appartement est extrêmement agréable avec des finitions de qualité : plancher en bous huilé, draps en coton organique, rideaux en lin etc. On ne sent pas dans un appartement touristique mais bien comme à la maison. Le village deltebre n est pas génial mail il permet de se rendre à tous les endroits clés du Delta de l Ebre car il se situe au centre de tout. Bref nous étions ravis de notre séjour et de soutenir un beau projet écologique, d Offre culinaire et culturel. Ça vaut le coup ! J allais oublier l accueil chaleureux de Daniel qui a pris un grand moment pour nous guider ds des activités. !
