Centrally located next to Turia Gardens, River Hostel is 5 minutes’ walk from Valencia Cathedral and Alameda Metro Station, which has direct airport trains. There is 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, free parking nearby and free luggage room.

River is soooo great. Not only its structure, but also staffs and rooms. We got a 4 beds room, 3 friends. All clean, organised and easy. Only “down” is that slowly lift, but we’re on holidays, right? It’s all fine. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean and well located: ideal for your visit to Valencia
It was close to historic center.
The mattress was comfortable.
Both rooms and Service were clean.
Overall, the hostel has no complaint.
And what I did not like about the hostel River valencia Sometimes you heard snoring, although it is normal in a hostel.

Warning!
This was one of the worst Hostels ever. Full with found and screaming kiddis between 12-14 years without parents. In there own house rule is this not allowed and also not at law. I will inform courthouse.

Welcome, cleanliness and comfort but too Noisy and too crowded
Pros: A good welcome and good staff who informs us, showers with hair dryer and straightener within reach, toilets cleaned regularly, comfortable beds with small shelves to put his things and mirror. Hearty breakfast with cold cuts, eggs, fresh bread and mini croissant, apple and orange fruits, milk cafe nesquik, soy milk, but no microwave to warm up the milk or coffee. good location of the hotel in the city center because everything is close for activities but noisy when it is fallas season because the band passes in the next avenue until 2am. Good value for money 430 for 5 nights with breakfast included.
Cons: The incessant noise due to the many young people arriving in groups of 30 at all hours, a lot of noise in the living room in the evening because the young people stay there until late in the evening to talk, young people without embarrassment and disrespect in the room who make noise at any hour of the night who come in / who goes out, speaks loudly and pulls the drawers loudly, who also spread out with their belongings untidy.
Unfortunately, the staff did not find a solution for the change of room, there was no more room, as my mother could not sleep for 5 nights at a time and to sleep in the downstairs lounge for the last night.
The sound of the marching band in the street until late.
The toilet too far from our room so difficult to go in the night.
The stairs to climb to the high beds are hard to climb, I was afraid of falling several times, and so was my mother.
The hostel should introduce a capacity limit for groups as it is far too unbearable and unmanageable for other guests. If you want peace and quiet to sleep in, this hostel is not the place to go.
First and last experience in a hostel for us, because even if it is cheap it remains very noisy and it is difficult to sleep and recharge after a big day of tiring visits. Sleeping well at night has no price so the hotel is more suitable although more expensive. We chose a hostel because there were no more places in the hotels 2 months before the fallas (booking in January for March) so it's better to plan ahead if you want tranquility.

Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Perfect location as well - I was able to walk everywhere from the hostel.
