The room was clean for most part. The bathroom could have been cleaner honestly. Also when they cleaned the room they did not refill the towels and we had to call for more. Except it took a while to receive and when he handed me a towel I was handed 1 for 2 people. When I requested the 3 in hand, housekeeping looked at me like I was crazy. Also the restaurant was closed due to an event all weekend but that was OK because there was plenty of places within walking distance which was nice. Overall it was not a bad stay.

Hotel with a gross-out factor
Room cleaned very poorly. Everything is very old and dilapidated. The photos have nothing to do with reality.
Towels were not replaced, coffee was not refilled. The bathroom was full of the previous guest's hair.

The noise from the machine is very disturbing and annoying. It is making it difficult for us to sleep

The location was perfect for our needs but will not suit the average tourist being so far from the downtown.
We tried to call to ask for an early check-in but no one ever answered the phone.
The room we were given was very nice and large but was missing a number of essentials (only one face cloth and only one bathrobe; no rubber bath mat) and also did not have some amenities we had hoped for (microwave and kettle). We told the front desk and were promised these would be sent up. Two hours later no one had come. We reminded the front desk. Two more hours went by and we still had not received these items.
Finally, after we came back from supper, the items which had been asked for were delivered -- all except one - a rubber bath mat, which the sign in the bathtub even said was essential. My wife is 81 and it would have been impossible for her to bathe without this. A further reminder was necessary and only then was it received because we waited at the front desk until it was provided.

- Reception and housekeeping staff are helpful and polite
