Le chatelain hotel is very nice!! We have enjoyed our stay. The receptionists’ team are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and as a family, we will definitely stay and recommend le chatelain for anyone staying in Brussels.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel. The rooms are incredibly dated and tired. There was wallpaper peeling off the walls and the toilet was located in a tiny dark cupboard away from the bathroom. There was only one soap despite there being two sinks. There were some books under the tv all from the early 2000s with ripped covers. To sum it up, this hotel probably was a 5 star hotel 30 years ago and it hasn’t changed since. Would not be returning.

Superb
Large room with a beautiful view of the city (top floor), and a nice welcome (small bottles of wine), small gym, delicious breakfast, beautiful decor. Very welcoming staff. Small problem with the coffee machine and the fridge resolved quickly.

A quick Trip but a surprised deposit
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and from the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. ❤️
I travelled from London to Brussels with my three-year-old for a day and a half as part of a Eurostar package, so we were mainly out exploring and didn’t get the chance to experience everything the hotel had to offer.
The room was lovely and comfortable, and I really enjoyed our stay. I also know a little basic French, which made the experience even more fun!
One thing I wasn’t aware of beforehand was the €100 deposit, so that’s definitely something I’d recommend checking when booking. Luckily, my friend helped me out because I was only staying for one night.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and I would happily recommend the hotel. ✨

Received a free room upgrade at check in, which was amazing! Very comfortable stay, good mattress, quiet surroundings, helpful staff and great air conditioning.
