Access Suites
Located in Thimphu, Access Suites is in a shopping district and in the mountains. Simtokha Dzong and Memorial Chorten are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Motithang Takin Preserve and Jigme Dorji National Park. Nehru-Wangchuk Cultural Centre and Royal Academy of Performing Arts are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including cross-country skiing. 2 restaurants, a bar/lounge, and a snack bar/deli are available at this hotel. Free WiFi in public areas, free valet parking, and a free manager's reception are also provided. Other amenities include a coffee shop/cafe, coffee/tea in a common area, and massage/treatment rooms. Change of towels is available on request. Access Suites offers 20 air-conditioned accommodations with safes and complimentary bottled water. Beds feature memory foam mattresses. 44-inch LED televisions come with cable channels. Bathrooms include separate bathtubs and showers with rainfall showerheads, bathrobes, slippers, and complimentary toiletries. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and hair dryers. Irons/ironing boards, change of towels, and change of bedsheets can be requested. A nightly turndown service is provided and housekeeping is offered daily. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or nearby; fees may apply.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Thimpu
Breakfast and Dinner has a spread of mostly Indian food. Cappuccino and Mocha for breakfast are complimentary. We requested for some non vegetarian food and staff were happy to oblige. Easy to get a ride into the city which is about 15 minutes away.

Cozy Retreat with Friendly Staff
Things We Loved: super friendly staff! Everyone from the check-in desk to the servers in the restaurant were so kind. They even made a few jokes with us and always made sure to come check on us whenever we were eating in the restaurant or sitting in the lobby waiting to be picked up. The food in the restaurant was actually fantastic as well! We didn’t eat off the buffet which it seemed a lot of people staying there had included with their tour package. We were given menus to order items and we were very happy with everything we ordered. We didn’t expect such tasty food from a hotel.
Things To Improve: Not much really. The living area has a floor level couch that was difficult to get in and out of for me as a relatively fit younger person. I couldn’t imagine someone older or with physical limitations ever using it. Also the hotel shower pressure could use a little adjustment.
Overall it was a great stay with Access Suites and have zero issues staying there again or recommending them to other travelers!
