Pleasant 2 nights stay in German village hotel

The room was basic and the double bed was actually two singles put side by side. One feedback for improvement is the shower head which didn't have a regular spray and it could not be attached upright to the stand.
The homely atmosphere and friendliness of the host and his daughter ( both spoke good English) made up for the rather dated room that we had.
The host recommended us to walk to Pfarrirche St. Georg for a panaromic view of the surroundings. It was a mere 3 minutes walk from the hotel and the views were awesome. Marion told us that the village parade was about to start in 15 minutes and it was right at their doorstep. That was an unexpected highlight of our stay.

Nice alpine guesthouse

We have really enjoyed a one night stopover during our trip along the Romantische Strasse in this hotel.
Our host was very welcoming, the room was clean and simple.
Breakfast was good, overall really good value for money.
We also had dinner in the evening and we enjoyed a good typical meal at a good price.

disapointing stay in holiday apartment of Bayersoier hof

The apartment was roomy but furniture was old and uncomfortable. The television was an old style box. The dishwashing sponge in the kitchen was old and I didn´t touch it. Bought new one the next day. There was a coffee machine but no filters ( usually there are a few) No salt and pepper, also a basic usually supplied.. Rubbish had a rather complicated system, one bin for organics and one for paper, so we were left wondering what to do with anything else! On booking .com it said there was a washing machine. This is in the cellar and can only be used under supervision Internet didn´t work unless you took a chair outside the apartment to sit because the router is in the apartment downstairs.

Traditional German

Traditional food. Family owned. Obviously used by locals. Great Apple Strudel. The owner took the time with our group of young students to give a history lesson on Bavaria and its past. Great evening.

Amazing Owners

We stopped at this location for some dinner after the castle. The food was great, but the owners are some of my favorite people to have met. They took us into the guest room and showed us some traditional Sunday parade items that they still use. I can't say enough good things about these wonderful people.
